Yep, Pillowcases

When we took our Christmas trip to Kansas in 2011, I decided to make the boys Christmas pillowcases to take along.  I made them from Dr. Seuss How the Grinch Stole Christmas fabric.  Even though the story was a kid’s thing, the boys really like the cases.  As a result, I decided to do other fun cases and want to do some for each major holiday.  From here on out, I will take pictures of the new cases as they are done and get them posted.  In the meantime, I will work on getting the Halloween, Lorax, and pick-your-own-fabric cases ironed so they can be photographed.  Hope you enjoy them.

Independence Day

This is Stonehenge Independence Day fabric.  The boys really liked this fabric and help pick out the colors so there would be four unique cases when we were done.

Quilt #23

This is my first quilt of 2013.  It was made for Cheryl Rinehart’s birthday…the one she celebrated in 2011.  Yeah, I’m a bit behind.  🙂

Anyway, Cheryl found the fabric online and the pattern was kind of a collaborative effort.  Carrol did her usual wonderful job with the longarm.  The quilting pattern is a skyline that includes the Statue of Liberty.
